PRN Radiation Therapist

Role Overview Seeking a PRN Certified Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of a Radiation Oncologist. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing for additional shifts at various locations when not needed at the primary site. It is a non-benefits eligible role. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures.Deliver accurate and consistent radiation treatments.Complete treatment processes and coordinate patient scheduling. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.Board Certified by ARRT and licensed in Illinois.RT(T) certification required.Experience with Varian TrueBeams, Siemens go.Open Pro CT scanner, and Identify and AlignRT Surface Guidance systems preferred.ARIA experience is preferred but not mandatory. Additional requirements include high school diploma or GED, and a valid RT(T) certification. A bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
