PRN Physical Therapist
About the role
We are open Monday-Sunday, offering flexible scheduling between 1-4 days per week. Despite the summer slowdown in Phoenix, our clinic remains busy with an active patient waitlist.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of patient care records for all patients on your personal case load.
- Correctly report billing information for physical therapy services for all patients on your personal case load.
- Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluations and treatment planning.
- Report and interpret treatment results accurately.
- Participate in the development and presentation of in-services for the facility as requested.
- Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate.
- Perform clinical functions such as screening, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Assist and assess transfers, gait, and balance as required based on the patient's level of assistance.
- Engage in manual manipulation, including pushing and pulling of patient body parts and limbs.
- Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
- Assist with community education and public relations activities as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of resident care, responding immediately to crises and calls for assistance.
- Participate in in-services, department meetings, and continuing education.
- Provide education to patients' families and staff on the specific treatment plan and therapy goals for the patient.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other staff members in carrying out the treatment plan as established.
Requirements
- A minimum of Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
- Sedentary tasks related to the job – approximately 10% Physical tasks as listed – approximately 90%.
- CPR certified.
- Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area in their respective therapy profession.

$42 - $65 per hour
