Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in the electronic health record system.
• Stay updated with the latest research and clinical advancements in physical therapy.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• A minimum of one year of recent relevant experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
