PRN Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents in accordance with their individualized treatment plans.
• Assess residents’ functional abilities and develop/implement treatment programs to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place for residents.
• Document all treatments and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Oregon.
• At least two years of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Experience working with older adults and geriatric populations.

• Knowledge of geriatric assessment and intervention techniques.
