Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to residents in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and therapy team huddles to discuss progress and address challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment sessions according to regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Completion of an approved residency or fellowship program in physical therapy.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing and coding.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
