PRN Physcial Therapist Assistant

About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position at National Church Residences Home Health division in Southern Ohio is a part-time, contingent role. The position is available in the areas of Ross, Fayette, Highland, and Pickaway counties.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform physical therapy treatments under supervision
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy from an approved curriculum
• Two to four years' experience preferred

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Ohio
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
