About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapy assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in treating patients. You will be part of a dynamic team involved in the growth and development of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient’s needs.
- Aid patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
- Communicate with patients about their treatment plans and document their conditions and responses in patient charts after each session.
- Interact with physical therapists, directors, and facility staff to ensure effective communication and support.
- Operate and utilize knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment and techniques.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
