PRN Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in treating patients. You will be part of a growing team that develops and implements physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Aid patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Communicate continuously with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
• Valid state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
