PRN Pharmacy Technician

Role Summary

Job Activities and Responsibilities

• Compounding sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations under the supervision of the compounding pharmacist
• Performing fulfillment of data entry and prescription processing
• Assisting and supporting laboratory technicians in prescription compounding and fulfillment activities

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensed by the State as a Registered Pharmacy Technician
• At least 3 years of pharmacy experience

Physical Requirements

• Proficient in using a computer and related equipment, including printers and fax machines
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Effective communication skills via telephone and email
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds as needed
• 20/20 vision (with or without corrective aids) required for visual inspection of drug products
