Pharmacy Technician PRN

About the role

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various health conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in providing medications to patients.
• Fills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prints out and fills label requests for First dose or Stat medications.
• Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required based on state requirement.
• One to two years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Pay

$20.50 per PRN rate.

Schedule

PRN/As Needed (weekday shifts 8a-4:30p, weekend shifts 8a-1:30p).
