PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the role

As an occupational therapy assistant at Enhance Rehabilitation, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist as part of a growing team. You’ll assist in treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists, ensuring every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• With assistance of an Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
