About the role

As an Enhance Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist, you will be a part of a growing team. Your primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting according to an individualized plan of care. You will also provide excellent care and customer service to patients and their families, collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality care, evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, set measurable functional goals, treat patients, address their concerns, educate them about their injuries, progress, and probable outcomes, re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals. Additionally, you will complete timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes. You will also supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in a SNF setting following an individualized plan of care
  • Provide excellent care for patients
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and family members
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure excellent care for patients
  • Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable, functional goals
  • Treat patients, answer their concerns, and educate them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes
  • Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. You must be licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in your state. Experience working in a SNF setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is beneficial.
