PRN Nocturnist

About the role

Sinai Hospital, a nonprofit teaching hospital and the largest community hospital in Maryland with 483 beds, serves residents of Baltimore City and County. As a regional medical campus for George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWSMHS), Sinai provides training for over 140 residents and 400 medical students annually. We are seeking exceptional physicians to join our Nocturnist team on a PRN basis for the night shift.

This role offers 100% clinical, inpatient work with no procedures required. You will provide in-house physician coverage for medical, surgical, PCU, and ICU patients in a closed ICU setting, as well as clinical support and direction to physician assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house physician coverage for medical, surgical, PCU, and ICU patients
• Work in a closed ICU environment
• Document clinical activities appropriately
• Offer clinical support and direction to physician assistants

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school (required)
• Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license
• Current CDS license, DEA certificate, and ACLS certification
• Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills

Pay

• $175/hour for night shifts
• $180/hour for holiday shifts
• Malpractice insurance covered
• Credentialing fees covered
