Physician: PRN Nocturnist

About the role

Sinai Hospital, a nonprofit teaching hospital and the largest community hospital in Maryland with 483 beds, is seeking exceptional physicians to join our Nocturnist team on a PRN basis. This role provides in-house physician coverage for medical, surgical, PCU, and ICU patients, including a closed ICU environment.

As part of our team, you will provide clinical support and direction to physician assistants, with a focus on 100% inpatient clinical work. No procedures are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house physician coverage for medical, surgical, PCU, and ICU patients
• Offer clinical support and direction to physician assistants
• Document patient care appropriately
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license
• Current CDS license, DEA certificate, and ACLS certification
• Must work well in a team environment and have excellent communication skills

Pay

• $175/hour for night shifts
• $180/hour for holiday shifts
