About the role
As a PRN Neuro-Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP; Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), you will work with a high-performing, patient-centered team committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience on a highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Working PRN, as needed; 1 shift per 4-weeks minimum
- 12-hour shifts, including days (7a-7p), nights (7p-7a), weekends, and holidays
- Providing 24-hour coverage for the 24-bed IMED Neurocritical Care Unit; practice includes: admissions, discharges, transfers, rounding, procedures, etc.
- Providing inpatient neurocritical care consults in IMED medical/surgical/trauma/thoracic ICUs
- No clinic responsibilities associated with this position; inpatient only
- Joining a well-established and highly collaborative team of 7 APP's, and 8 NCC Physicians
Requirements
- An ideal candidate will have Neuro Critical Care, Critical Care, and/or Neurology experience.
Qualifications
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification, ACLS certification, and DEA

- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
