United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for our Neuro Critical Care opportunity at UHS Wilson Medical Center. This is a full-time, exempt position open to both experienced and new graduate candidates.

About the Role

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program, following established standards and practices.

Schedule

  • Full-time days or full-time nights, depending on preference
  • 100% inpatient role in the Neurocritical Care unit

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification, or graduate of an accredited physician assistant program
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or PA program
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • CPR and ACLS certified (must maintain certification during employment)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification (obtained within 3 months of employment commencement)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous critical care experience (e.g., ICU or Emergency Department)

Pay

Annual compensation range: $143,100 - $167,000
