Position Overview
United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for their Neuro Critical Care department. Full-time nights - 100% Inpatient. Experienced or new grads welcome!
About the Role
Primary Department, Division, Or Unit: Neurocritical Care, UHS Wilson Medical Center
Annual Compensation Range: $128,100 - $149,400
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients
- Collaborate with and under the direction of physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program
- Follow established standards and practices
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification or physician assistant program
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or PA program
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- CPR and ACLS certified and must maintain certification during employment
- NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 3 months of employment commencement
Preferable Characteristics
- Previous critical care experience (e.g., ICU or Emergency Department)

Pay
Salary Range: $143,100 - $167,000 annually
