About the role

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is Florida’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are expanding our faculty to meet substantial institutional growth. The Cancer Center comprises a large, 3 facility ambulatory care practice, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 15 state of the art operating suites, a 30 bed intensive care unit, a high volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in the assigned department on an "as needed" basis.
• Practice medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.
• Serve as a member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institution's mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.
• Support patient care, research, and education.

Requirements

• Successful applicants must be board certified (or eligible) in Internal Medicine.
• Possess active FL MD Licensure or have eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida.

Qualifications

The incumbent agrees to comply fully with Moffitt Cancer Center policies and procedures and the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
