PRN Hospitalist

About the role

We are searching for a collaborative, sharp, and autonomous clinician to join our inpatient medicine team at Intermountain Health's Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley, ID.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality inpatient care
• Assess and manage patient conditions, order tests, and develop treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and rounds

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitalist care is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of hospital operations and emergency department protocols

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $7.25 - $999.99
