PRN Float Pharmacist - Community - Vermont

About the role

We seek a Per Diem Float Pharmacist for northern Vermont to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis. Pharmacy Locations: Floating between our pharmacies in northern Vermont, including Derby, St. Johnsbury, Morrisville, St. Albans.

Schedule

Schedule of Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, no nights, weekends, or holidays. Candidates must have some availability during that time.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Vermont
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
• Current pharmacist license in state of New Hampshire or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment.
