General Objectives
The Financial Assistance Representative willingly and effectively assists patients with all questions or issues related to the revenue cycle using exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills. Calls unrelated to the revenue cycle will be properly handled to ensure patients’ questions are resolved to their satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
- A Certified Patient Accounts Technician certificate is preferred.
Experience
- Admissions or billing background in a hospital or other healthcare setting is preferred.
Skills
- Typing 50 wpm is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Computer and clerical skills required.
- Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to address difficult situations and resolve conflict with ease, poise, and tact.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Role
On-site only in Glenwood Springs!
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred!

Pay
Position wage range: $20.00 - $28.87/hour + 14% PRN Differential.
Schedule
PRN (as needed), day shift.
