Responsibilities

  • Performs patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications.
  • Documents patient account activity and responds to customer billing inquiries.
  • Posts payments and implements billing guideline changes.
  • Identifies trends at a payer specific level and applies federal and state guidelines to collection efforts.
  • Interprets and follows up on Explanation of Benefits.
  • Inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Flexible hours between 6:30am - 6:00pm / 8-10 hours weekly.

About the Role

This Patient Financial Representative II opportunity is a PRN (non-benefit eligible/ as needed) position requiring onsite work in Largo, FL for 8-10 hours weekly. This role will consist of clerical, mail distribution, calling oxygen patients physician offices, and additional help with AR collections as needed.
