Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of assigned patients.
  • Facilitate a warm, welcoming experience for patients and their families.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients' conditions and communicate them effectively.
  • Coordinate care among various healthcare professionals.
  • Carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments.
  • Two years of recent experience in an acute care setting.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Qualifications

  • Physical Requirements: Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

  • Minimum hourly: $43.00
  • Maximum hourly: $43.00

Schedule

  • PRN (as needed) variable night shifts from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
  • Work 48 hours within a six-week period.
  • One holiday per year required.
