PRN Dietitian

About the Role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a PRN Dietitian to provide coverage for hospitals within the Ochsner Health system. This is an hourly, PRN position with an anticipated need of 2+ days per week. New graduates are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (or CDR exam eligible)
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
