Registered Dietitian

About the role

We are now hiring a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. We believe in a family culture and focus on person-centered care, building a positive culture with shared values of trust, communication, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.
• Advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Ensure optimal nutrition for our residents and maintain high standards of care.

Requirements

• Must have a Registered Dietitian License.
• 3-5 years' experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.

Qualifications

• Nice to have experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
