About the Role
Provide clinical nutrition care in skilled nursing, post-acute, and long-term care settings. Assess residents' nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and culinary services, to promote residents' health, strength, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments, review labs and clinical data, monitor weight and tube feeding needs, and support documentation such as MDS Section K.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition.
- Partner with culinary teams on menu planning and dietary needs.
- Build positive relationships and ensure care standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition.
- Active Registered Dietitian license in Nebraska.
- At least two years of experience in similar settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of care planning, documentation, regulatory requirements, and tube feeding management.
- Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Work effectively under stress.
- Fluency in English and compliance with safety protocols are essential.
