Carolina Mountain Dermatology is looking for a dedicated Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Arden, NC as needed. We provide comprehensive skin and aesthetic wellness services, including medical dermatology, skin cancer care, and cosmetic treatments. Our team is committed to helping patients look and feel their best through compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories
• Assisting providers during examinations and procedures
• Preparing instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms
• Conducting basic laboratory tests and handling specimens for analysis
• Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records
• Coordinating patient scheduling and office communications
• Educating patients about treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare
• Keeping examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable
