Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at a healthcare facility. They are essential members of a collaborative care team, performing diagnostic procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Perform CT procedures per department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.Operate imaging equipment independently, adjust techniques, and ensure image quality.Maintain cleanliness, disinfect equipment, and report any issues promptly.Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety.Provide age-appropriate patient care, ensuring safety, privacy, and comfort.Administer contrast, position patients correctly, and use proper shielding and immobilization.Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat if necessary, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment.Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.Certified by ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography, with BLS certification.Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient communication.
