PRN CRNA

About the role

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Wellesley, MA. The position offers flexible scheduling, a competitive hourly rate starting at $290/hour, and the opportunity to work independently with a positive, engaging culture.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
• Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment

Requirements

• Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
• One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
• Recent experience providing general anesthesia
• Proficient in nasal intubations
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center

Preferred Experience

• Experience with dental anesthesia
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current state licensure as an APRN
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance

Pay

Hourly rate starts at $290/hour, negotiable based on market.

Schedule

Report at 6:30 AM, first surgery starting at 7 AM. PRN schedule available.
