PRN CRNA
Job Summary
Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Greenwood Village, CO. The position offers a PRN schedule with an hourly rate starting at $250/hour, negotiable based on market. The shift begins at 6:30 AM, with surgeries starting at 7 AM. As a 1099 contractor, the CRNA will provide independent practice with 100% autonomy.
About the Role
This position is dedicated to providing life-changing dental implant treatments to patients. The CRNA will work closely with surgeons and dentists to ensure optimal anesthesia plans and deliver safe and effective anesthesia. The ideal candidate should have experience with nasal intubations and recent experience in dental anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding anesthesia options and potential risks
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
Requirements
- Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
- One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
- Recent experience providing general anesthesia
- Experience with nasal intubations
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center
Preferred Experience
- Experience with dental anesthesia
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
