Job Summary
Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Richmond, VA. The position offers a PRN schedule with a starting hourly rate of $250, negotiable based on market. The shift begins at 6:30 AM, with surgeries starting at 7 AM. As a 1099 contractor, the CRNA will work autonomously, providing life-changing dental implant treatments.

Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize anesthesia plans
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding options and potential risks
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
Requirements
- Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
- One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
- Recent experience providing general anesthesia
- Proficient in nasal intubations
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting or surgery center
Preferred Experience
- Experience with dental anesthesia
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
