Job Summary

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Richmond, VA. The position offers a PRN schedule with a starting hourly rate of $250, negotiable based on market. The shift begins at 6:30 AM, with surgeries starting at 7 AM. As a 1099 contractor, the CRNA will work autonomously, providing life-changing dental implant treatments.

This position is dedicated to the satisfaction and well-being of patients, focusing on delivering exceptional care and positive outcomes. The ideal candidate should have experience with independent practice, nasal intubations, and working in an outpatient facility or surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
• Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment

Requirements

• Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
• One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
• Recent experience providing general anesthesia
• Proficient in nasal intubations
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting or surgery center

Preferred Experience

• Experience with dental anesthesia
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
