About the role
Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full arch dental implant center in Torrance, CA, is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our team. We specialize in implants and full mouth restorations, delivering life-changing procedures with a focus on patient satisfaction and well-being. This is a PRN, 1099-contractor position with a starting hourly rate of $270, negotiable based on market, and a daily guarantee regardless of workload.
Schedule
Report at 6:30 AM with the first surgery starting at 7:00 AM. This role offers a great work-life balance with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays.
Pay
Hourly rate starts at $270, with negotiability based on market conditions. A daily guarantee is provided whether you work or not.
Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting.
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans.
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform pre-operative assessments and educate patients on options and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events.
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
Requirements
- Two years of experience practicing as a CRNA.
- One year of experience practicing independently as a solo provider.
- Recent experience providing general anesthesia.
- Proficiency in nasal intubations (training available for the right candidate).
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dental anesthesia.
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting.
Education & Licensure
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current state licensure as an APRN.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance.
