About the Role

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full arch dental implant center, is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our team in Miami, FL. We specialize in implants and full mouth restorations, providing life-changing procedures with a focus on patient satisfaction and well-being. This is a PRN, 1099-contractor position with a starting hourly rate of $200, negotiable based on market, and a daily guarantee regardless of workload.

Schedule

Report at 6:30 AM with the first surgery starting at 7:00 AM. This role offers a great work-life balance with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans.
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding options and potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events.
  • Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.

Success in this role is defined by delivering safe, consistent anesthesia to every patient. Effective communication with all parties involved is crucial for the success of our centers.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience practicing as a CRNA.
  • One year of experience practicing independently as a solo provider.
  • Recent experience providing general anesthesia.
  • Proficient in nasal intubations (training available for the right candidate).
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Current state licensure as an APRN.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with dental anesthesia.
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting.
