Job Summary
Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Lemont, IL. The position offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $250/hour, negotiable based on market, and a daily guarantee regardless of working hours. The schedule is PRN, with surgeries starting at 7am and ending around 6:30pm.
About the Role
This position is an independent contractor, valued for their efficiency, self-motivation, and commitment to patient safety. The ideal candidate should have experience with independent practice, nasal intubations, and recent experience with dental anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding anesthesia options and potential risks
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
Requirements
- Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
- One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
- Recent experience providing general anesthesia
- Proficient in nasal intubations
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center
Preferred Experience
- Experience with dental anesthesia
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
