PRN CRNA

About the Role

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full-arch dental implant center in Houston, TX, is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our team. We specialize in implants and full-mouth restorations, delivering life-changing procedures with a focus on patient satisfaction and well-being. This is a PRN, 1099-contractor position with a daily guarantee, whether you work or not.

Pay

Hourly rate starts at $225/hour, negotiable based on market.

Schedule

Report at 6:30 AM with first surgery starting at 7:00 AM. No nights, weekends, call, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full-mouth dental implants in an office-based setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding options and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events.
• Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.

Requirements

• Two years of experience practicing as a CRNA.
• One year of experience practicing independently as a solo provider.
• Recent experience providing general anesthesia.
• Proficient in nasal intubations (training available for the right candidate).
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dental anesthesia.
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting.

Education & Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current state licensure as an APRN.
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance.
