PRN CRNA

About the role

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in West Bloomfield, MI. The position offers a PRN schedule with a starting hourly rate of $230, negotiable based on market conditions. The shift begins at 6:30 AM, with surgeries starting at 7 AM. The position is a 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events.
• Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.

Requirements

• Two years experience practicing as a CRNA.
• Average of one year experience practicing independently as a solo provider.
• Recent experience providing general anesthesia.
• Proficient in nasal intubations.
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with dental anesthesia.
• Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance.
