PRN Crisis Hotline Counselor

About the role

Responsible for managing a 24-hour triage crisis hotline, providing immediate support to individuals in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls with empathy and professionalism
• Dispatch counselors into the community to assist callers
• De-escalate situations and assess safety concerns
• Screen conversations to determine appropriate interventions
• Preserve the dignity and confidentiality of those served

Qualifications

• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of mental health and crisis response protocols
• Compassionate approach to client care
