About the role
Provides counseling, crisis assessment, and intervention in various settings such as jails, homes, and community locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct crisis and intake assessments
- Determine appropriate care levels
- Facilitate communication with other organizations
- Develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Support discharge and aftercare planning
- Assist with community outreach
- Participate in supervision and staff meetings
- Complete compliance training
- Perform other assigned tasks while ensuring client safety and confidentiality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LIMFT, or MFT in Ohio)
- Knowledge of chemical dependency, healthcare regulations, and community resources
