What you will do as a CNA in our Inpatient Unit: Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and assistance with activities of daily livingObserve and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the RN and care teamFollow each patient's individualized plan of care under the direction of the RNAssist with meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environmentProvide emotional support and companionship to patients and familiesAccurately document care provided in the electronic medical record in a timely mannerTransport or deliver equipment and supplies as neededParticipate in team meetings, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives What We Are Looking For Graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program with an active Virginia CNA licenseMinimum of one year of CNA experience preferred (hospice, home health, or long-term care experience is a plus)Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsReliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insuranceA heart for mission-driven, relational work with patients and families Schedule & Compensation Schedule: PRN supporting day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) - 12hr shifts looking for coverage at least 4 shifts per 6 week schedule Location: Inpatient Unit – Roanoke, VA Find your purpose here If you are driven by compassion, grounded in clinical skill, and looking for meaningful work, we would love to hear from you.
