PRN CNA Care Center - Nights

About the role

Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to provide exceptional care at their Care Center in Pinellas County.

Responsibilities

• Serves and carries out the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Performs only personal care/home maintenance activities as outlined in a Hospice Aide Plan of Care by a health professional employee.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions, incidents, or behavior to the patient’s nurse or supervisory nurse.
• Maintains confidentiality in the care of patients and families.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License (optional if choosing self-driving as mode of transportation).
• One to three years of training and/or experience required.
• One year of experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred.
