About the role

Acti‑Kare Responsive In‑Home Care provides compassionate, personalized support to clients who wish to remain independent in their own homes. Services include companionship (transportation, outings, mobility assistance, crafts, pet interaction, gardening, shopping, meals) and home services (light housekeeping, laundry, pet care) with a focus on reliability, dignity, and respect.

The PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lawrenceville, GA. The CNA will deliver direct personal care, companionship, activity engagement, meal preparation, and light housekeeping while monitoring client condition and collaborating with supervisors to ensure high‑quality, client‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility support.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities such as conversation, outings, hobbies, and social interaction.
• Assist with meal preparation and support clients during mealtime.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying living spaces.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
• Follow established care plans and adhere to safety and infection‑control standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other staff to ensure high‑quality, client‑centered care.
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality.
• Provide flexible availability to meet clients’ needs, including varied shift times.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe, respectful personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Experience offering companionship and engagement (conversation, outings, hobbies, social interaction).
• Skills in basic home support: light housekeeping, laundry, simple meal preparation, maintaining a clean environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and respond calmly to changing needs.
• Reliable transportation to clients’ homes in and around Lawrenceville, GA.
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed.
• Proven dependability, professional conduct, and commitment to client confidentiality and safety.
• Previous in‑home care, senior care, or healthcare experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent recommended.
