Private Voice Lessons Instructor

About the role

At Moravian Academy's Swain Campus, great teaching is celebrated, students arrive eager to learn, and the arts are woven into everything we do. This is a role for a passionate vocalist and educator who loves building real relationships with young singers.

Responsibilities

• Teach 30-minute private lessons to students across a range of ages, voice types, and experience levels - from a third-grader discovering their voice for the very first time to a middle schooler polishing an audition piece.
• Build curiosity, confidence, and model lifelong learning in every lesson.
• Part of a warm, collaborative fine arts community where coordinators are accessible, colleagues are supportive, and families are genuine partners in their children's growth.

Qualifications

• A strong passion for vocal performance and education.
• Experience teaching vocal music at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
• Ability to work with students of various ages, voice types, and experience levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their growth and development.
