Private Patient Care Opportunity (CNA)

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and provide one-on-one support to adults in their homes across Mecklenburg, Iredell, and Cabarrus counties. You’ll deliver personal care, household assistance, and companion services following a registered nurse’s written plan of care, helping clients maintain safety and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, and more
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Support range-of-motion exercises and ambulation (including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Offer medication reminders
• Check and record vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience
• Completion of a recognized CNA training course and active certification
• Passion for caregiving and helping others in a private home care setting
• Commitment to providing quality, compassionate care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
