Private Owner Houseperson - Blackberry Mountain

About the role

An all-purpose position that assists the housekeeping department by maintaining the cleanliness of all guest rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean rooms as needed
• Deliver clean linen and supplies to housekeepers
• Remove soiled linen and trash from housekeepers
• Load supplies for the day
• Attend morning line-up to receive room assignments
• Restock all housekeeping closets on the property with amenities and linens
• Maintain golf carts: clean at end of shift and plug into charger
• Keep all pantry items in guest rooms stocked and account for pantry alcohol sales
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance
• Work well with team members, managers, and interact with guests

Requirements

• Some cleaning experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
• Basic math skills
• Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
• Must be able to stand all day and perform physically demanding work, including constant movement, lifting, and getting on hands and knees to clean
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
• Must be able to work around cleaning supplies/chemicals
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

Pay

$15.00–$16.00 per hour
