Private Lacrosse Coach

About the role

STXZ Lacrosse is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. As an independent coach in the Saratoga Springs area you will receive client requests for private lessons, run the sessions on your own schedule, and handle lesson briefings. The platform handles client acquisition, payment processing, billing, refunds, disputes, and provides limited liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Review client offers and decide whether to accept.
• Contact the client within 24 hours of acceptance.
• Agree on schedule and location (home, local field, park, etc.).
• Conduct the lesson using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform after each session.
• Receive payment for each completed lesson.

Requirements

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations.
• Own lacrosse stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication skills with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Pay

Earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate. Payout occurs within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing via PayPal. A 1099‑NEC is issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform. No fee to apply and nothing is due up‑front; the $30 annual liability‑coverage fee is recovered from your first lesson payout.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You control when you work, can pause availability at any time, and set your own travel radius (from a few miles up to 35 + miles).
