STXZ is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. The platform sends coaches local client offers, handles administrative work, and allows coaches to run sessions independently.

How it works

• A family near Somers requests lessons through STXZ.
• STXZ sends the coach a client offer with details.
• The coach reviews the offer and decides whether to accept.
• If accepted, the coach contacts the client within 24 hours.
• The coach and client agree on schedule and location (home, local field, park, etc.).
• The coach runs the session using their own drills, pacing, and structure.
• After the session, the coach submits a quick lesson briefing on the platform.
• STXZ processes payment and handles billing, refunds, and disputes.

Pay

• $35 – $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate.
• Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before the first lesson.
• Payout within 24–48 hours after submitting the lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year‑end if earnings reach $2,000 or more.
• No guaranteed minimum lesson volume; lesson volume depends on client demand.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. Coaches work when they want and can pause availability at any time.

What you control

• Schedule – accept or decline any offer without penalty.
• Methods – choose drills, lesson plans, and teaching style.
• Territory – set your own travel radius (a few miles up to 35 + miles).
• Approach – decide what equipment to bring to each session.

What STXZ handles

• Client acquisition – marketing the platform and bringing families to you.
• Matching – sending local client offers that fit your profile.
• Payment processing – collecting from clients and paying you after each session.
• Billing, refunds, and disputes – managed by STXZ support.
• Liability coverage – platform liability coverage program for sessions booked through STXZ (annual fee $30, $0 down; fee recovered from first lesson payout). Independent coaches may also carry personal insurance.

Who this is for

• Coaching experience at youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 years or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations.
• Own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

How to apply

Complete a short coaching profile questionnaire (about 2 minutes) covering playing history, coaching experience, positions, and availability. After review and background screening, approved coaches begin receiving local client offers.
