About the role

STXZ is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. When a family near Whippany requests lessons through STXZ, you receive a client offer with the details. You review the offer and decide whether to accept it. If you accept, you contact the client directly within 24 hours, agree on a schedule and location (their home, a local field, a park, or your choice), run the session using your own drills and structure, and submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform afterward. STXZ handles client acquisition, matching, payment processing, billing, refunds, disputes, and provides liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions.

Responsibilities

• Contact the client within 24 hours of accepting an offer.
• Coordinate schedule and location for each session.
• Conduct the lacrosse lesson using your preferred drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a brief lesson summary on the STXZ platform after each session.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Own lacrosse stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.

• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Pay

You earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate. Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson. Payment is made per completed session, with payout within 24 to 48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing via PayPal. A 1099‑NEC is issued at year end if your earnings reach $2,000 or more. STXZ does not guarantee a minimum number of lessons.

Schedule

Most lessons occur on weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You choose when to work and can pause your availability at any time.
