About the role

Coach lacrosse on your own schedule in Williamsburg, Virginia. STXZ Lacrosse connects families with independent lacrosse coaches, sends you client requests for private lessons, and handles administrative work so you can focus on coaching.

How it works

• When a family near Williamsburg requests lessons, STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
• You review the offer and decide whether to accept—no quotas, no pressure, no penalty for declining.
• If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours.
• You and the client agree on schedule and location (home, local field, park, etc.).
• You run the session using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• After the session you submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform.
• STXZ processes payment and you get paid.

Pay

Earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate. Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson. Payout occurs within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing via PayPal. If you earn $2,000 or more through the platform, STXZ issues a 1099‑NEC at year‑end. There is no fee to apply and no guaranteed minimum number of lessons.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want and can pause your availability at any time.

What you control

• Your schedule – accept or decline each offer without penalty.
• Your coaching methods – drills, lesson plans, teaching style.
• Your territory – set your own travel radius (a few miles up to 35 + miles).
• Your approach – decide what equipment to bring to each session.

What STXZ handles

• Client acquisition – marketing the platform and bringing families to you.
• Matching – sending you local client offers that fit your profile.
• Payment processing – collecting from clients and paying you after each session.
• Billing, refunds, and disputes – managed by STXZ support.
• Liability coverage – enrollment in STXZ’s platform liability coverage program for sessions booked through STXZ.

Liability coverage

Active coaches are enrolled in STXZ’s platform liability coverage program for sessions booked through the platform. The program fee is $30 per year, with $0 down; the fee is recovered from your first lesson payout once you start coaching. Coverage is limited to platform‑booked sessions only; independent coaches may also carry personal insurance.

Who this is for

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Your own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.
