About the role

Coach lacrosse on your own schedule in Troy, New York. STXZ Lacrosse connects families with independent lacrosse coaches, sends you local client offers, and handles administrative work so you can focus on coaching.

How it works

• When a family near Troy requests lessons, STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
• You review the offer and decide whether to accept—no quotas, no pressure, no penalty for declining.
• If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours, agree on schedule and location, and run the session your way.
• After the session you submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform.
• STXZ pays you a flat per‑lesson rate; you retain full control over drills, pacing, and structure.

Compensation

• $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate (rates vary by market and are confirmed in writing before the first lesson).
• Payout within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
• Paid per completed session; lesson volume depends on client demand, with no guaranteed minimum.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want, can pause availability anytime, and set your own travel radius (from a few miles up to 35 + miles).

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 years or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.

Requirements

• Your own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.
