Private Lacrosse Coach

About the role

STXZ is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. In the Greenville, South Carolina area, STXZ sends you client requests for private lessons that they cannot currently fill. You review each offer, decide whether to accept it, and then run the session your way. STXZ handles client acquisition, matching, payment processing, billing, refunds, disputes, and provides liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions.

Responsibilities

• When you accept a client offer, contact the client directly within 24 hours.
• Agree with the client on schedule and location (their home, a local field, a park, or another mutually agreed spot).
• Run the lacrosse session using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a quick lesson briefing on the STXZ platform after the session.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ before receiving full client details.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

• 1099‑NEC issued at year end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
• Liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions: $30 per year, recovered from your first lesson payout (nothing due to start).
• You set your own travel radius (from a few miles to 35+ miles) and decide what equipment to bring to each session.
• You control your coaching methods, drills, lesson plans, and teaching style.

Pay

$35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate. Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson. You are paid per completed session; lesson volume depends on client demand in your area and STXZ does not guarantee a minimum number of lessons.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want and can pause your availability at any time.
